Overview/description

.......what is this core competency referring to? Describe how it links in with the Digiteen Area of Awareness

This core competency is referring to the perspectives of students. This links to my area of awareness because most students don't know about the different procedures and rules of other cultures.

Examples

.....Provide real examples from your school, country or from your research of how this norm and the Digiteen element impact on each other. These can be in the form of an image with text, a podcast, a short video, interviews etc.

Some examples are that students in Mississippi worked together with students in Mexico to study the Monarch butterfly's migration pattern. Also some teachers would like kids to study their cultural heritage and learn what makes them unique. The author was trying to tell us how we treat cultural differences.[1] There are also many different levels of cultural awareness. My way is the only way means that they see their culture the only way to do something. I know their way but my way is better means that you know their culture but yours is still better.
My way and their way means that you choose the best idea for the situation. Our way means that people from different cultures come together.
